Welcome to the 49th History & Home Link Party – it’s been nearly a year! Thanks to all of you who join in each week!
I’m sharing a bit of history with you this week, but only a glimpse. Remember a while back when I wrote Art Deco Department Store Finds a New Purpose in a New Century? I never did show y’all the cool, curvalicious mid century building around the corner from the Tapp’s Department Store, so I thought I’d show you finally.
I’m not sure what it was, or what it is, but one of these days I need to get back over there and find out!
UPDATE: My sweet blogging friend Donna, from Distressed Donna Downhome let me know that this was the Greyhound Bus Station! She sent me this link to an article with lots of great info on this building, in case you’re interested. Thanks, Donna!
Now it’s my blogging friends’ time to share what they’ve been up to!
