We Call It Olde Link Up, Week Three

Welcome to another edition of the We Call It Olde Link-Up, the place for bloggers to share their articles about antiques, vintage finds, and history; and the place for readers to sit back, relax, and enjoy the olde eye candy!  In the first two weeks of the link-up, we had visitors from England, Bulgaria, and all over the United States.  And we had a cool olde ice box, typewriters, furniture,  vintage kitchen glass, and a gorgeous olde house being saved from the wrecking ball.  I can’t wait to see what y’all have to share this week!

My Olde Cooler

I recently found this Holiday by Thermos jug cooler at an estate sale. The place was a frenzy – I had to wait in line to get through the front door!  So I was very surprised no one had snapped up this little gem already.  Am I wrong?  Isn’t it great?  Unsure of what crud may lurk within the nozzle, we’ll be using it for a display piece on the screen porch we’re building.

  2. Hi sweet Dawn – I see your party is growing. Hooray! It is so much fun to look at everyone’s “olde” stuff. Thank you for hosting and have a great week.

  3. Thanks for finding my blog and inviting me to your party! I’m glad you like my ROYAL!
I love good stories, and you have to have some history (older) to have the story!

  4. Hi Dawn! Thanks for your kind comment about That Old House, and thanks for visiting. You are right — how have we never “met” before?
I joined your link party — and i love that your button for it features an old wire egg basket. I have an identical one that I got from my mother, who had a small chicken farm for awhile during the Second World War.

I look forward to exploring your “junk.” 🙂
