History and Home Link Party

We’re back for week 36 of the History and Home Link Party, the place for bloggers to share their stories on home decor, home projects, antiques, vintage finds, and history.  If you’re a blog reader, just relax and enjoy what our writers have shared, we’re so glad you’re here.

As for me, it’s super busy around my abode with the end of school and all of the activities that brings, but we’re getting very close to our screened porch reveal – finally!  We got several small projects done to that end this past weekend, so that was really nice.

Last week’s link-up brought vintage finds and home decor aplenty, as it always does.  Y’all never cease to amaze me with what treasures you uncover and what creativity you muster.

Adirondack Girl @ Heart had the most visits last week:

Our Clover House had a great kitchen reno to share.  Recreating and reusing existing cabinets – wow!

There are more features (my picks) on the Features Pinterest page, so check that out, too.  The link is below.

Now let’s see what everyone has been working on for this week!  Thanks for joining in everyone!  ~Dawn

  1. Isn’t it crazy how busy we become just with the onset of summer. I think we try to cram everything into these few months. Summer just has that way with me also.

  2. Hi Dawn, Looking forward to seeing your porch! This week for me has been mostly about the garden, but The Tablescaper motivated a post on where we keep all our tableware stuff – it’s been a hoot of a party and real eye-opener for those of us who love our dishes.

  3. I guess the invites for all of us to join your family on the grand opening of the porch are in the mail. Thanks for hosting. My favorite link so far is the trip to see the Fabulous Beekman Boys.

  4. Hi Dawn – Happy June! Can you believe it? I loved your two part series on camping and junkin’. I must find that flea market when we move to SC.
Thank you so much for hosting and have a blessed week my friend,
