Welcome to the 52nd History & Home link party. A whole year of wonderful articles linked up, how quickly the time passed!
Today is the first day of my favorite season – Happy Fall, Y’all!
I made this sign many years ago, just using acrylic paint and stencils. It’s not fancy, it’s not terribly impressive, but we put it on our front porch every year and really enjoy it. The miserably high temps of South Carolina summers are easing up, the days are shortening, and the colors are changing.
We certainly aren’t the only folks with one of these signs for the porch. Here are some others to inspire you, in case you’d like to make one for your home.
From Etsy shop Color On Canvas
From Etsy shop Southern Style Gifts
From Etsy shop Joyful Art Designs
If you’re not up for making your own, visit those Etsy sellers and you can purchase one. Or try your local home decor and craft stores, they’re sure to have them this time of year.
Now it’s my fellow bloggers’ turn to share their home decor and projects, antiques and vintage finds, and visits to historic places. Thanks so much for reading….y’all 😉
