We Call It Olde Link-Up, Week 9

Welcome to week 9 of the We Call It Olde Link-Up, the place to share your posts about anything historic, vintage, or antique, or just enjoy reading what others have shared.  Glad to have you join us!

Antique Salt Glazed Crock

I did share this a while back, but for the newer We Call It Junkin readers, I thought I’d show you how we use one of those antique crocks you’re always seeing in antiques malls.  We use this one for books and magazines.

We have another one that we use for utensils on the kitchen counter.  You can read more about this in a post I wrote a while back called Antique Crocks in Action, including a bit of history on these pretty vintage pieces.

Thank you, Van! I’m so glad we bought it a long time ago when they were still cheap 🙂 -Dawn @ We Call It Junkin

I don’t think I’ve seen one like that before, that sounds really cool. Another great use for an olde crock. Thanks for sharing that – Dawn @ We Call It Junkin

Olde is good, Thank you for hosting Dawn. I sure wish I had my olde crocks. I miss making sun dills in the summer. I always have lots of olde things, and some new (kind of) too. I don’t know how old (or new ) my pilgrims are but I have had them a long time. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I totally understand, Kate! This time of year is so busy. I’m so glad you still stopped by and enjoyed just visiting everyone else. I like to do that too when I can, forget about the “blog work” and just see what everybody else is doing, it is very relaxing, I agree. Take care – Dawn @ We Call It Junkin
